Still 29 days left. It's already broken the highest price for a sports collectable as full price with buyers premium puts it at $13.2 million. It's going to go much higher with all the crypto money floating around or maybe someone like NY Mets owner Steve Cohen will buy it. With $16 billion in the bank $20 or $30 million won't put a dent in his wallet. Unfortunately the MLB HOF can't buy it. They get articles like this as donations with credit given to the owner. That owner can take it back at anytime if he wants to sell it or display at his home. Realistically the jersey should be on display at Cooperstown. There are so many great items in private hands. It has been owned by a well known private collector since 1990.
